UK Next Day Delivery

UK next business day delivery is offered as standard on all orders and is charged at £4.95. Orders placed by 1pm are despatched same day for next business day delivery and orders placed after 1pm will be despatched the following business day. If you have an urgent requirement please phone us to see if there is anything we can do to assist.

An exception to the UK next business day delivery is the delivery of our chocolate bouquets. To ensure they arrive in optimal condition we do not despatch chocolate bouquets on Fridays. Orders placed after 1pm Thursday will be despatched the following Monday.

Whilst every effort is made to deliver your gift on time, sometimes unexpected and unavoidable delays can occur due to such factors as traffic and extreme weather. These delays are rare but unfortunately are beyond our control. In these circumstances both ourselves and our courier company will do everything we can to ensure your gift is delivered as soon as possible.

Saturday deliveries via Royal Mail are available at a surcharge of £5.00 - please call us on 0800 161 3363 for details should you wish to book this service or add Saturday Delivery to your shopping cart.

For UK orders, additional gifts when ordered with the bouquet of your choice will be sent at no extra delivery cost. For International orders the shipping is charged on a weight basis for the entire order.

We are unable to deliver to a maternity ward, deliveries to a hospital address can, at times, be problematic due to many hospitals not accepting deliveries for patients, the recipient be released earlier than expected or the gift being lost in a large hospital. We recommend delivery directly to the recipients home which will mean a wonderful surprise when they return from hospital. Otherwise why not have the bouquet delivered to your home or office and you can take it along when you are visiting, a great excuse for a cuddle with the new arrival.

For baby shower and maternity leave gifts we can deliver to an office as long as we have a street address. Please include your details in the "ship to" fields so that you can take delivery and present the bouquet at a time that you wish.

Our next business day courier service is a signed for service, therefore please ensure someone will be available to sign for the parcel, or provide alternative instructions such as leave in porch or with a neighbour. For courier deliveries if the recipient is not home when a delivery is made a card will be left so that the recipient can arrange re-delivery with their local depot. Deliveries will only be attempted twice after which time if no response is received from the cards left a re-delivery charge of £4.00 may be incurred. If no response is received 5 days after the second card is left the goods will returned to The Flower Stork and a re-delivery charge of £15.00 will be incurred.

International Postage Rates

The Flower Stork uses Royal Mail International Signed For or Royal Mail Airsure (where available) for all international deliveries.
You can place International Orders on-line by selecting Europe or Rest of World to calculate the postage at check out.

As a guide deliveries to Europe generally take 3-5 business days and Rest of World 5-7 business days, however please note once the parcel has been passed to the overseas postal service we are reliant on their service to deliver in a timely manner so we cannot accept responsibility for delays beyond the times stated.
